IAS Officers Association to run free classes for aspirants
Chhattisgarh's IAS Officers Association said that they will conduct free coaching classes for aspirants of various competitive exams in the state.

The decision in this regard was taken on Tuesday during a meeting of the association with a view to motivate aspiring students to take up various competitive exams and provide them better guidance, Association chairman N Baijendra Kumar said here on Wednesday.

IAS officers will take classes on holidays and teach to crack several state and national level competitive exams, including civil services.

Beside general studies and English, preparation to face interviews will also be a part of the training, Kumar, also state's additional chief secretary commerce and industry, said.

As many as 40 youths from various places of the state will be shortlisted to attend classes which will be held in Raipur.

Students from all 27 districts will be given an opportunity to qualify to join the coaching, he said.

Young officers have shown more interest to take the classes and place will be decided soon, Kumar said.
