Haryana State Government has recently announced to cancel the HBSE 12th Board Exams 2021 due to the lethal wave of COVID-19 pandemic. The decision has been came in lining with the CBSE’s announcement to cancel the exams. 

Earlier the Haryana Board of School Education, HBSE announced to postpone the class 12th board examinations in view of coronavirus pandemic havoc. The State Education Minister Kanwar Pal in his brief stated, "We respect the decision of centre on cancelling the class 12th board examinations. We have also decided to cancel the Class 12 board exams in the state which were to be conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education.”

The minister also said that the evaluation criteria for HBSE 12th Board Results 2021 will be intimated soon by the Board authorities. However, the board examination result will be based on objective criteria basis. The Haryana class 12th board exams were earlier scheduled to be conducted in April and continue till mid-May. The HBSE has already announced to cancel the class 10th board examinations in view of rapid upsurge in COVID-19 pandemic.

About the Objective Criteria

As per the reports, the evaluation and result process will be solely based on internal assessment. The authorities will consider the internal marks of class 11th and class 12th half yearly, unit test and pre-board exams while preparing the final results of class 12th board examinations. The detailed objective criteria will be announced by the board in due course of time.
