CLAT 2024 Registration Starts: The Consortium of National Law Universities has commenced the online registration for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam until November 3, 2023, on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
CLAT 2024
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 22 national law universities in India. There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the UG/PG program through CLAT 2024.
CLAT 2024: Exam will be held on December 3
As per the notification issued by the Consortium of National Law Universities, the examination for the Common Law Admission Test, i.e., CLAT 2024, is scheduled to be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023. The CLAT 2024 exam will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. There will be a total of 150 questions on the paper. The sections include English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs, along with Legal Aptitude.
CLAT 2024: Eligibility for CLAT UG
Candidates must have obtained the following minimum percentage of marks in their qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or equivalent examination):
- Forty-five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in the case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories.
- Forty percent (40%) marks or equivalent in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.
CLAT 2024 Eligibility for CLAT PG
An L.L.B. degree or equivalent examination with a minimum of fifty percent (50%) marks or its equivalent grade in the case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and forty-five percent (45%) marks or its equivalent grade in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee for CLAT 2024
The application fee for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates is Rs. 4000, while for SC/ST/BPL category candidates, Rs. 3500 is applicable. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
