CBSE Practical Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 10th and 12th practical exams as well as internal test dates, in winter bound schools today.
The practical exam for such winter bound schools, will commence from 5 November onwards and will stretch till 5 December, 2024.
Futhermore, Candidates must note that these practical exam dates and instructions are specific to winter-bound schools only and it is not relevant for regular CBSE schools. Internal exams for all other regular CBSE schools will be conducted from 1 January, 2025.
CBSE Practical Exams 2025: Instructions (Winter Bound schools)
- Firstly, list of candidates has to be finalized to ensure that only eligible registered candiadtes (via online LOC) are appearing for exams, projects, or internal assessments.
- Refer the regional offices to appoint external examiners and regulated observers
- Ensure that the examination is completed and the copies are collected on time and they answer books are then dispatched to the regional offices.
The official CBSE notice published on the website states that, "As per provisions of Examination Bye-Laws/Scheme of Studies of the Board, the Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment for the session 2024-25 are scheduled from 1 January 2025 for all affillated schools in India and abroad. However, the winter bound schools are expected to remain closed during January due to the winter season."
Further the notice highlightet, "Accordingly, the Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment for the session 2024-25 for classes X and XII for winter-bound schools will be conducted from 5 November 2024 (Tuesday) to 5 December 2024 (Thursday)."
The date for winter bound schools are released earlier as such schools always remain close in the month of January. Candidates from the regular sessions school must wait for another official notification from the CBSE board authorities.
