AILET 2025 NLU Delhi Revised Eligibility Criteria update: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has updated the eligibility requirements for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025. Candidates should note that the varsity has lowered the qualifying percentages for its Master of Legislative Laws (LLM) programmes. It should be mentioned that this revision is for both the one-year LLM (non-residential) programme and LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Management. According to  NLU Delhi official notice,  candidates who wanst to be eligible for the one-year LLM programme are now required to have completed their LLB degree.

 
If not LLB, candidates are required to hold an equivalent degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks to be eligible for the one-year LLM program at NLU Delhi. According the official notice, candidates belonging to the reserved category such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability are required to have obtained at least 45 percent marks to be eligible. Earlier, it was 55 percent for UR category candidates and 50 percent for reserved categories.

AILET 2025: Eligibility criteria for foreign nationals
In order to be admitted to the LLM program, foreign nationals must have completed an LLB degree with a minimum academic record of 55%, as approved by the Association of Indian Universities or the UGC. In addition, international applicants will be assessed for admissibility to the LLM program based on their oral and written English competence as well as an interview.


AILET 2025 Eligibility: Requirements for LLM in IP law and management
A recognized university must award an LLB or similar degree with at least 50 percent of the possible points to candidates for the LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Management. Application is also open to final-year LLB students who will graduate in 2025. According to NLU Delhi, there won't be any changes to the other qualifying standards for enrollment in LLM programs.

AILET 2025 exam on December 8
Registration for AILET 2025 opened on August 1, 2024. The official notification states that the registration for AILET 2025 will end on November 18, 2024. Candidates who meet the requirements can apply for the LLM, PhD, BCom LLB (Hons), and BA LLB (Hons) programs by going to nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, the official website of NLU Delhi. On December 8, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the AILET 2025 test will take place.

AILET 2025 exam pattern
The AILET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline form. The English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning sections comprise the four parts of the AILET 2025 exam. There are going to be 150 multiple-choice questions in all. Each right response will earn candidates one mark, while each wrong response will result in a deduction of 0.25 points. The AILET 2025 exam lasts for two hours.
