UP BOARD: Exams Begin With Hindi Paper, 55 Lakh Examinees To Appear, Flowers Showered On Students At Centers,

The UP Board high school and intermediate examinations began on Thursday. In the first shift, there is a Hindi examination for class 10 students. In the second shift, there is also a Hindi examination for intermediate students. More than 55.25 lakh students will take the examination at 8265 centers across the state.

An FIR will be registered against officials and employees involved in cheating, any kind of wrongdoing, spreading rumors, and collusion in the examination and they will be sent to jail. This year the examinations will be completed in just 12 working days.

Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary Education, gave this information on Wednesday. He said that if a question paper or any part of it is made viral on WhatsApp, social media or any other medium before the examination of a subject is over, then strict action will be taken against the concerned person. STF, LIU will keep special vigil in sensitive, highly sensitive centers as well as in 16 identified districts. The question papers will be opened under the supervision of CCTV cameras. Armed forces will be deployed round the clock at the copy collection centers and strong rooms along with keeping an eye on them with the third eye. To prevent copying, 1297 sector magistrates, 430 zonal magistrates, 75 state level observers, 416 flying squads have been constituted.

Monitoring from Vidya Samiksha Kendra for the first time
The Additional Chief Secretary said that all the centers will be monitored online from the Vidya Samiksha Kendra located at the Control Center, Directorate of Secondary Education, Lucknow, as well as the state level. Along with this, command and control centers have also been set up at the Council Headquarters, Prayagraj and five regional offices for the first time.

These arrangements will be made for the first time
All 3.11 lakh invigilators deployed at the examination centers have been given computerized identity cards with QR code and serial number.
QR code, serial number and logo on the cover page of answer sheets, logo on the inside page, number on each page.
Answer books will be provided in four different colors. This will prevent the use of old books.
Quick Response Team will quickly investigate misleading news on social media, efforts to mislead will be monitored.
