AICTE New Initiative: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched a new initiative to provide employment training to technical college students, connecting them with job opportunities in the digital economy.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched a new initiative to provide employment training to students studying engineering, management, pharmacy, and architecture. This initiative aims to connect technical students with job opportunities in the digital economy with the support of the Employability Life organization.

According to AICTE Chairman Professor TG Sitaram, not only students but also teachers need to be trained to meet future needs and employment opportunities. The digital economy requires a new skill set, and teachers need to prepare students for Industry 4.0 and future job opportunities. The training will be conducted online and will include career development sessions, faculty development, and industrial education.

Under the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, all AICTE-recognized institutes and colleges will provide training to students on Mindset Growth, Influence, Digital Intelligence, Career Intelligence, and Cultural Intelligence.
