The Department of Posts India, Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Rajasthan Postal Circle has issued recruitment notification for the posts of Postmen & Mail Guard in different division.
The eligible candidates are requested to read the complete notification with utmost care before applying for the same.
Name of Posts:
Postman : 193 Posts
Mail Guard : 03 Posts
Age Limit:
The candidates who wish to apply for the above mentioned posts should be aged between 18 to 27 years of age. Relaxation in the age is permissible by 5 years to the SC, ST applicants, by the 3 years to the OBC applicants.
Educational Qualification:
The candidates applying for the post should possess the qualification of matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Application Fee:
Rajasthan Postal Circle has mentioned that applicants will have to pay the registration fee which is non refundable. Payment for the registration is to be made only by the general and OBC applicants which is Rs. 400. SC, ST, PH and female applicants are exempted from paying application fee.
How to get Application form:
Applicants have to obtain the application form from the head post office in the circle at the payment of the Rs. 100.
Selection Process:
Performance of the applicants as recorded in the aptitude test is the means of the selection. This test will cover 3 parts. First is covering the GK topics, 2nd part includes the mathematics and 3rd part includes the regional language and English language related topics.
How to Apply :
The requirement which is related with the applicants to make the registration is very general procedure. As mentioned, applicants are liable to send the application which is being prescribed by the Rajasthan Postal Circle. This application has to be dispatched along with the required credentials. Completely filled application must be send either by speed post or registered post only.
