Mass Cheating: Bihar govt mulling to introduce online exam

Following reports of mass cheating during board exam, the Bihar government is likely to introduce online exam.
"The state government is set to change examination pattern by naking the test and evaluation online. This will bring for overall transparency and to end chances of manual interferences," said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The decision comes a month after the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) expelled 204 Class XII students for using unfair means in the intermediate examination on Wednesday.

While the BSEB Class XII exam 2017 started on February 14 amid the question paper leak allegations, 12, 61, 793 students are appeared dor the state plus two examination. The exam ended on February 25.

Of the candidates barred from the rest of the examination, Bhojpur district accounted for the most (28), followed by Jehanabad (20) and Patna (16), the BSEB said in a statement.
