International Yoga Day 2019: Yoga will make you Healthier and Happier

Yoga is the most effective methods of establishing a connection between the body and the mind. The 5th International Yoga Day is being celebrated today globally. June 21, the day which considers as an International Yoga day was declared by the United Nation General Assembly on December 11, 2014.

Since then, every year this event celebrated with Great Spirit.

Why it is celebrated?
Yoga in India is considered to be around 5000-year-old Physical, mental and spiritual practices. Yoga was originated in India. Lots of people practices yoga to live a healthy life. To make Yoga’s valuable amongst youth and children, PM Modi had launched a particular date of practising yoga all across the world. For living healthy life Yoga is much beneficial for every age group.

How it is celebrated?
Yoga day is celebrated in all over India or in the world also. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi leading crowd of people every year at a yoga session. He participated in a yoga programme in different states and practising yoga. Many Actor-Actresses, Politicians and other big celebrities either joined them or posting messages regarding yoga on their social media walls.

It is a worldwide event celebrated by the people through practising yoga, meditation, debates, meetings, and different kind of cultural programmes.

Aim: Aim of yoga day celebration is to raise awareness among people worldwide about the benefits of practising yoga in their life on a regular basis.

This celebration of the yoga day is celebrated by the more than 170 countries including USA, China, Canada, etc. Every member of the UN Organization celebrates the day in a suitable manner according to the national priorities to raise awareness about yoga.
