DU's 3-day moot court competition to begin on Jan16
Students of 74 law institutions from India and abroad will participate in a three-day moot court competition, organised by the Campus Law Centre of Delhi University, beginning from Friday.

"The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, is hosting the 11th K K Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2015, from January 16 to January 18," the Law Centre said in a press statement.

It said that this year's moot problem focuses on the law of corporate criminal liability and the extent to which the directors and other responsible officers of a corporation can be made criminally liable.

Justice Ranjan Gogoi of the Supreme Court will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, it said.

The George Washington University Law School, USA, and Campus Law Centre, Delhi University will jointly organise "The Advocacy Workshop" on January 16.

The final round will be held on January 18 in which Justice Dipak Misra of the Supreme Court will be the chief guest, the release said.
