Ensuring transparency, Delhi University (DU) will soon launch a mobile-app for tracking attendance of students.
The decision was taken after the university authority reportedly received complaints from students that teachers have not maintained accurate attendance sheets.
While the teachers are now updating attendance of the students manually on their websites on a monthly-basis, the app is expected to be launched next month.
After launch of the app, the attendance will be updated daily.
