Delhi government launched app to check cleanliness in schools
Education department of Delhi government has launched 'Swachch School mobile app' to get the report of cleanliness and tidiness in schools in Delhi. The inspection team includes members of School Management Committees (SMCs). According to the circular issued by the education department, the teams will be visiting all government schools from December 17 and will inspect all portions of school buildings ( both open and closed), especially toilets, verandahs, classrooms, playgrounds, rooftops, offices, staff room, library, labs etc. These teams will be carrying online 'Swachch School mobile app' through which they will upload the Swachh School Inspection Report’, including photographs, they will also submit reports of their findings on the Swachh School mobile app.

Delhi government had instructed all government schools to ensure their premises are clean. All schools had been informed that after December 17, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia, SMC teams and senior officers of the department will inspect schools across Delhi. According to government sources the initiative is a part of 'Swachh Delhi Drive.'

About 225 teams have been made for this purpose to inspect Delhi government schools from December 17 to check the cleanliness and hygiene standards in schools of Delhi. The department has directed all heads of schools to allow entry to these teams.
