Border Security Force (BSF) invites applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment to 1670 posts of Constable (Tradesman).

Pay Scale :
Rs. 5200 -20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-
Age Limit :
The willing candidates should be aged from 18-23 years as on 01/08/2014. Age relxation will be applicable as per govt norms.
Application Fee :
Rs. 50/- in the form of bank DD or Postal Order in favour of concerned DIG/IG/Commandant. SC/ST/Ex Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.
Method of Selection :
The applicants will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Trade Test and Written Test.
Written Test :
(a). The candidates who qualify in the PET/PST and Trade Test will be required to apper in a written test.
(b). The written test for 100 marks containing 100 questions (qualifying marks 35% for GC & Ex- Servicemen and 33 % for for SC/ST/OBC) will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using a black pen.

Application in the prescribed format should be sent to the respective IG/DIG BSF in different states of India as per the details given in the advertisement on or before 11/08/2014.
