4 things you should know about acing CBSE class X science exam

The concepts that you learn in 10th class are amazing. They not only build up a foundation for your next classes but also provide you an inside of what you are going to experience in the coming years. To ace in the CBSE class X science exam you have to consider science your daily companion and never let it down by ditching it anytime during the year. Science needs practice and more practice.

1.    Learn the chemicals: When it comes to chemistry, remember that every single line in the book is important. You cannot skip anything while preparing for exams. Read the explanations of the process given in the books and try to understand them rather than just memorizing them. Try to formulate the practical related to the chapter. It will help you in remembering the concept. Make important charts for the compounds etc. Memorize examples for the processes and compounds.

2.    Physics can be fun too: Most of the students do not try to understand the concept and equations. Unfortunately, some of the teachers also prefer that students memorize the concept. Don’t do that and it will be better if you learn it by understanding the process. If you are not able to grasp anything, try to get your hands on the practical part of the concept. Formulas work wonder and sometimes even mentioning it at a proper place can get you 0.5 to 1.5 marks. Learn about numerical concepts and do not skip them. Elaborate your answers with diagrams and examples.

3.    Understand the biology: First memorize the names and concepts and then understand them. The names are complex and hard to remember so you can also try writing them again and again. Make short notes to memorize the answers. Do not skip any line in the book. Sometimes even a small definition can cause loss of marks in the examinations. Diagrams and flowcharts are always welcomed by the teachers while checking the answer sheets. Do not skip any question. You may not remember the complete answer but write as much as you do.

4.    The holy study material by NCERT: Read those again and again as many times as possible. Do not rely on study material from other sources. Find test papers and old exam papers online and try them out.
