The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) issued a notice as a warning for the students who appeared in the board exam regarding fraudulent phone calls by individuals claiming themselves as board officials. These unscrupulous elements claim to increase marks for students who appeared in the Bihar board examination 2024 in return for money. The Board clarifies that the answer sheets of the BSEB Inter, Matric exams 2024 are completely secured and no further changes can be made.

The Bihar Board also appealed to the parents of the concerned students to file a First Information Report (FIR) in the nearest police station or also file a complaint in the cyber cell against the person calling. The Bihar board mentions that parents can also inform them regarding the fake phone call.

The Bihar Board said, “Information is being received that some anti-social elements, posing as representatives of the committee, are demanding money from the general public through phone calls and temptation is being given by them to wrongly increase the marks of students in Intermediate and annual secondary examination, 2024,” said BSEB in an official statement.

‘This is completely wrong, undesirable and illegal, for which it is necessary to take strict legal action against such anti-social elements,”

The board cleared for the students that the answer sheets of the 10th and 12th board exams 2024 are barcoded and their confidentiality will remain intact. BSEB further adds that the conversion of marks in any answer sheet is not possible at any level.

It is very clear that these anti-social fake elements just want to commit unwanted acts in exchange for money. No committee member or employee is involved in this act. So, if anyone receives a phone call regarding the same, they should directly lodge an FIR against them and can also file a complaint in a cybercrime cell.

The board requests the guardians of students, not fall into the trap of these fake people and requests to inform the board committee so that they can take strict actions against them.
