JoSAA Counselling 2023: After the completion of JoSAA counselling for IITs, NITs, and IIITs in the country, students are now eagerly looking forward to getting admission to their allotted colleges. They are collecting information for final admission from the websites of their allotted colleges. In such a situation, students who have been allotted IITs after JoSAA counselling will need to gather complete information about the remaining college fees and documents required for admission from the respective IITs' websites.



Reporting Starts for Final Admission in IITs

Education expert Amit Ahuja mentioned that reporting dates for admission to IITs are now available on each IIT's website. Students are advised to review the information provided on the website of the allotted IIT, as each IIT may have different dates for reporting, orientation, and commencement of classes. Students can complete their registration process by visiting the admission link provided on the IIT website.


Students Are Required to Deposit Fees

Additionally, students allotted to NITs and Triple ITs will need to deposit a partial admission fee between July 29 and 31. The fee is set at Rs 36,000 for General, OBC, and EWS categories, and Rs 16,000 for SC and ST categories. By paying this partial admission fee, students can secure admission to the colleges of the NIT system allotted to them through JoSAA counselling. Students who are satisfied with their allotted colleges from the NIT system will then have to complete the admission formalities for final admission to NIT Triple IT. They can find this information on the website of the allotted NIT,IIIT. The seat acceptance fee deposited by the students during counselling will be adjusted against the remaining college fees during their admission.


First Semester Schedule in IITs from July 31 to August 28

Expert Amit Ahuja explained that the first semester at IITs will commence from July 31 to August 14. The first semester of studies at IIT Delhi and Madras will start on July 31. Subsequently, IIT Roorkee and Rupat will start on August 2, Jodhpur on August 3, Hyderabad on August 4, Bombay, Kharagpur, Bhilai, and Jammu on August 7, Varanasi, Dhanbad, and Dharwad on August 8, Indore on August 9, Tirupati, Kanpur, Guwahati, Patna, Bhubaneswar, IIT Mandi, Palakkad, and Goa on August 14, and lastly, IIT Gandhinagar on August 28, when the first semester studies will begin.
