The Department of Commerce, Delhi school of Economics, Delhi University has invited applications for its M.Phil and Ph.D. entrance test for the academic session commencing in 2014.
The eligible and desirous candidates who wish to get admission in these courses are requested to read the complete details before applying to the programme.
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicants applying for M.Phil must have secured at least 55 per cent marks in their M.Com/MIB/MHROD/MFC/MBA examination. Candidates with other postgraduate degrees which are similar to MBA degree are also eligible to apply for M.Phil and Ph.D programmes.
Candidates who are not eligible for admission to Ph.D programme and lack financial assistance will have to appear for an entrance exam and interview.
The candidates who are provisionally admitted to the Ph.D programme through an entrance exam or interview will be offered UGC fellowships for the same or any other fellowship initiated by the national agencies.
How to Apply :
Interested and eligible candidates are required to download the application form from the university website: www.commercedu.com. The applicants need to send duly filled application forms to be submitted at: the Department Office, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, New Delhi-110007.
Application fee:
Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST/PWD/CW category candidates) through DD in favour of The Registrar, University of Delhi, and payable at Delhi/New Delhi.
