The University School of Open Learning situated at Panjab University has issued the schedule for admission to B.Ed course.
The applicants who wish to pursue academic career in B.Ed programme may apply online till August 08.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
Duration : 2 years
Number of Seats : 500 seats: (for Punjab & Chandigarh), 300 seats: (for all India including Punjab & Chandigarh)
Educational Fee : As per prospectus [2013-2014]
Eligibility Criteria :
(a) The applicants must possess Bachelor's degree of this University or any other recognized University with at least 50 per cent marks in the aggregate, provided the candidate has offered at least two school subjects at the first degree level.
OR
(b) M.A. or M.Sc. or M.Sc. (Hons. School) or M.Com. degree of this University or any other recognised University with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in the aggregate, with combination of at least two school subjects at the first degree and postgraduate degree level.
OR
(c) B.A. degree of the University through modern Indian Languages and English only examinations, in which case the aggregate of 50 per cent marks shall be calculated by taking into account the marks obtained in English and the elective subjects taken together.
OR
(iv) Any other qualification recognised as equivalent to (i), (ii) or (iii) above.

The University School of Open Learning (Formerly known as Department of Correspondence Studies the Department of Correspondence Studies), Panjab University was established in 1971. The objective was to take university based education beyond the four walls of the University.
