Students seeking to pursue undergraduate courses from Delhi University will now be able to fill forms through a mobile application that will provide all admission-related information.
The android-based mobile App -- DU UG admission 2014-15 -- was launched on Wednesday by Deputy Dean Students Welfare Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, who created it along with a group of students.
"These days, students access Internet through their mobile phones. Keeping up with them, we have launched this mobile application which provides all kind of information related to undergraduate admissions including schedule, courses, basis of selection and colleges," he said.

Students will also be able to fill admission forms through the App from June 2 onwards when the admission process begins, he said, adding, "One will have to upgrade the App and a link will be provided for filling the OMR form." While most features available on the App will require Internet, some information-related links such as admission schedule and college directory can be accessed offline.

Links to the university's website as well as that of colleges will also be available on the App.
