Online admission for DU's open learning programmes from June 25
The online admission process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University's School of Open Learning (SOL) will begin on June 17 while offline forms will be available from June 25.

An order issued by the Executive Director of SOL said the last date for the receipt of application forms will be August 21.Any application submitted after that date, from August 22 to September 15, will have to be accompanied with a late fee of Rs 200.

The details of eligibility, fee structure and other information will be made available in the undergraduate prospectus which will be uploaded on the SOL website https://sol.du.ac.in on June 17. The last date for change of course and subject is October 31. SOL provides BA Programme, B Com, BA (Hons) English, BA (Hons) Political Science and B Com (Hons) courses.

The offline admission process for direct admission in the post-graduate programmes, for 50 per cent of total seats, too will begin on June 16 to July 21.

The cost of registration form will be Rs 100 and the registration fee will be Rs 250 for General and OBC category and Rs 100 for SC/ST and PWD category. The postgraduate programmes provided are MA Hindi, MA History, MA Political Science, MA Sanskrit and M Com.

The delay in admission process for SOL had led to protests from students and teacher groups who alleged that there was a move to replace the undergraduate degree programmes with diplomas and certificate courses.

Reportedly UGC had raised objections about the dual degree status of the Honours degree programmes in the Delhi University.
