University of Kashmir has started offering engineering course in various fields at its Zakura campus following approval by Governor N N Vohra for setting up of a college of engineering.
"University of Kashmir has started providing admission in B.Tech course in three streams -- Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering -- from this year at its recently approved constituent College of Engineering, Zakura Campus Srinagar,” a spokesman of the university said.

The admission process was started after Governor N N Vohra, who is also Chancellor of the University, accorded approval for the establishment of an engineering college at Zakura Campus, he said.
