The Jawaharlal Nehru University has invited applications in the prescribed format from interested students for Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Programme of (SYLFF).
Issuing the fellowship notification on its official website the university said that "The felliowship is for a period of three years, where the students would be given 18,000 per month.
The students of School of Arts and Aesthetics, Special Centre and Special Centre for Culture Studies are not eligible to fill this application form, P.K.Maurya, Deputy Registrar (Admission) said.
The minimum eligibility for considering the applicant should be confirmed in Ph.D programme with a confirmed Ph.D topic. There shall be Screening Committee at the university level to make further recomendation to the steering committee of the SYLFF.
One student will be allowed to fill the application from one centre. The last date for applying for this fellowship programme is 31 October, 2014.
