Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered enhancement in intake capacity of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu from the present 160 students to 300 students.
"Orders to this effect were issued on Saturday. The enhancement in intake capacity has been made in the disciplines of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering," an official spokesperson said.

He said the state Board of Professional Entrance Examination has been asked to select or allocate seats to the increased or revised number from the current academic session on the basis of the Common Entrance Examination.
