IIT-Delhi opens its MBA doors to all streams
The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) has opened its gates of MBA Programme for all streams.

Now students pursuing any course may take admission in MBA course offered here.

Previously, only those with engineering and technology background or those with Masters in Science and Commerce or Economics were considered eligible for the management programmes offered by the Department of Management Studies.

“The students from all streams may apply to take admission in MBA programme,” said department head Kanika. T. Bhal, adding that the new MBA programme is more immersive and relevant to all industries.

Previously, only those with engineering and technology background or those with Masters in Science and Commerce or Economics were considered eligible for the management programmes offered by the Department of Management Studies.

The department will assess the eligibility of a student based on academic record, starting from performance in Class X and XII apart from their CAT score and performance in group discussion and personal interview.

A candidate’s extracurricular activities and professional experience will also be taken into account.
