JAC Delhi 2024: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Delhi, will commence the registration for counselling after 15 May, 2024.

 

This councelling is for aspiring candidates interested in admission to engineering, architecture, and management programs proposed by financially supported universities of the Delhi government. 

 

Candidates must note that along with 90 seats available for BArch courses, all to be allocated through the JEE Main examination process.

 

Registration is for the first round of counseling. Candidates will be required to submit their preferred choices of courses and colleges in their order of preference. Those who have obtained the minimum JAC cutoff will be offered admission based on eligibility.

 

JAC officials will release information brochures, seat matrices, and counselling schedules on the official website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in along with the application form details.

 

JAC Delhi Counselling 2024: Participating universities

  • Delhi Technological University (DTU)
  • Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
  • Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD)
  • Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)
  • Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU)
  • The registration process will run for one month. 

 

JAC Delhi Counselling 2024: Registration fee and documents

Applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of INR 1,500 plus transaction charges for JAC counselling. During the registration form filling, candidates will need to upload the following documents:

  • Receipt of seat acceptance fee payment.
  • Online registration form duly signed by the candidate and parent or guardian.
  • Printout of filled options after the registration closes.
  • Three passport-sized photographs.
  • Printout of JEE admit card and scorecard for the year 2024.
  • Class 12 mark sheet and seat allotment letter.
  • Seat allotment letter.
  • Birth certificate as proof of date of birth shown in the high school or equivalent exam.
  • Bonus point documents, if eligible for IIIT-D bonus points.
  • Certificate for reserved category or sub-category.
  • Medical fitness certificate.

 

Last year, Netaji Subhas University of Technology was responsible for coordinating the institutions for JAC admissions. Admission to the B.Tech program is based on scores obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024. 

 

Through JAC Delhi counselling last year, a total of 6,666 seats were filled in proposed engineering programs by five participating institutions, and 90 seats were filled in proposed B.Arch programs by two participating institutions.
