UCEED counselling 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) is going to close the seat acceptance and payment window for UCEED counselling round 1 today, 18 April. Candidates may login to their accounts and accept their seat allotment latest by today, through the official website i.e. uceed.iitb.ac.in/2024/.


Additionally note that, IIT Bombay will open the seat withdrawal and exit window for UCEED 2024 counseling round 1 from 19 April - 30 April. 


Candidates must note that this undergraduate common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2024) forms the basis for the institute's counselling procedure for admission to the Bachelor of Design programmes at the IITs in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

The UCEED 2024 counseling registration was scheduled between 14 March - 2 April,  2024 and the UCEED 2024 exam admit cards were made available on 5 January, 2024.

While downloading of the draft answer keys and candidates' responses for UCEED 2024 were made available starting from 23 January, 2024. The last key was then made available on 31 January, 2024 (5:00 p.m.) 

Finally, IIT Bombay released the results of the UCEED 2024, on 8 March, 2024. The admission exam for UCEED 2024 was held on 21 January, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
 

UCEED 2024: Counselling options 

  • Students allotted seats in the UCEED 2024 counselling process can choose between ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ options.
  • Those selecting the ‘freeze’ option will not be able to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.
  • Candidates opting for the ‘float’ option can apply for better seats in the following rounds of counselling.
  • The window for withdrawal of seats or exit from the allocation process will be open between 19 April to 30 April. 

 

UCEED 2024: Acceptance Fee 

Students accepting the allotted seat will have to pay Rs 60,000.

  • SC, ST, and PwD candidates will have to pay a reduced acceptance fee of Rs 15,000.
  • Applicants opting for exit or withdrawal options will receive a refund of Rs 55,000.
  • Students from SC, ST, and PwD categories opting for exit or withdrawal will receive a refund of Rs 10,000.


IIT Bombay stated that upon payment of the seat acceptance fee, candidates will be able to get a provisional seat allotment letter through their login.
