The Central Board of Secondary Education
(CBSE) on Monday has announced the results of class XII examinations.
According to a statement issued by Board, CBSE Class XII result has regsitered a decline of 0.70% pass percentage than previous year. Last year 82.70% students had passed Class 12 exam.

M Gayatri a student from New Greenfield School Saket (New Delhi) is the topper who has scored 496 out of 500.
The highest pass per centage, 95.4 per cent, was from Thiruvananthapuram.
Girls have once again outshone boys in CBSE Claas XII exam that was declared today. A total of 87.5 Girls 77% Boys have been declared pass.
The results for all regions have been announced, a board official said.
Students can check their results by submitting their Roll Number as inscribed in their admit card.
The board, in its statement, added that post-result counselling would begin from Monday itself and continue till June 8, for which it has provided a toll-free number -- 1800118004.
The CBSE Board Class 12th examinations concluded in the month of March. This year, about 10,40,368 students have appeared for Class 12 exams across the country.
Last year the results for same was announced on May 29. Girls had outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 examinations last year. CBSE is the national board of education for public and private schools and conducts final examinations for Class 10 and 12.
