BRO Vacancy 2024: Border Roads Organization (BRO) has released a short notice for recruitment to the posts of Draftsman, Supervisor, Turner, Machinist, Operator and Driver. This recruitment drive is only for male candidates who are citizens of India. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts through the official website at bro.gov.in.
A total of 466 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive, out of which 226 posts are for unreserved category candidates. 6 posts have been reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates and 39 posts have been reserved for Scheduled Tribes. At the same time, OBC candidates will be appointed on 81 posts and EWS candidates on 53 posts.
The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years for all the posts. The upper age limit varies, for some posts it is 27 years, and for the rest it is 25 years. Also, applicants must have completed and passed class 10th/matriculation or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

- A 4-stage selection process is followed to select the eligible candidates, they are as follows:
- Written Test: This is the first stage of the recruitment process. This stage is common for all the posts, candidates have to appear for a written test of 100 marks to get shortlisted for the second stage.
- Physical Test/Skill Test/Driving Test:- Shortlisted candidates after the written test will have to appear for physical test/skill test/driving test as per the posts they have applied for.
- Document Verification: Those who qualify in the previous two stages will have to appear for the document verification round with their original documents like mark sheets, identity proof, etc.
- Medical Examination: After the document verification, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo medical examination for their final selection.

- Submit the application form and take a printout of it for future reference.
