Revenue Inspectors, Patwaris Get Chance To Appear For Tehsildar Exam

After relaxation of age limit by the government, the Revenue Inspectors (RI) and Patwaris will be allowed to sit for the Tehsildar exam in Bhopal this year. 

The maximum age limit required to sit for the exam is 50 years. The test will be held in two shifts. 

While the first shift will start at 9 am and continue till 11:30 am, the second shift will commence at 3 pm and end at 5:30 pm. There will be a 100-digit question paper in both the shift.

If media reports are to be believed the exam will be conducted to fill up 160 vacant posts. Three babus, 18 patwaris and RIs from Indore will appear for the exam. They have also applied for sabbatical leave from June 27, affecting the office work. 

The exam was last conducted in 1995. In 2002, the examination was canceled after a petition was filed in the court. 

Exam Pattern 

First Shift of Exam (9 am - 11:30 am)
Applicants will be asked questions related to computer, general knowledge, logical abilities and English. 

Second Shift of Exam (3 pm - 5:30 pm)
Applicants will be asked questions related to government service related rules, questions of salary, allowances, revenue terminology, land revenue code and land records manual.
