AFCAT 1 Notification 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 short notification 2025. According to the notification, the AFCET 2025 registration process will begin on 2 December 2024. Interested candidates can fill out the AFCAT 1 application form 2025 by visiting the official website, afcat.cdac.in.

The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 31 December 2024. The AFCAT 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 336 vacancies of men and women in the department. The selection process of candidates for AFCAT 1 2025 will include a written test, an AFSB Test, and a Medical Examination. AFCAT is conducted to select candidates for admission to the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches/NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry courses.

Flying Branch Minimum three-year degree with 60% marks or a BE/B.Tech (four-year) with 60%.
Ground Duty (Technical) Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): Four-year degree in Engineering/Technology.
  Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Weapon System Branch: Minimum 3+2 degree with 60% marks.
  Administration: Graduate degree in any discipline with 60% marks.
  Accounts: B.Com, BBA, MBA with 60% marks, or qualified CA/CMA/CS/CFA.
  Education: Postgraduate degree with 60% marks in graduation.
