Now onwards, no international curriculum: CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular to schools mentioning that it will discontinue its international curriculum (CBSE-i) from the next academic year (2017-18).

Who will face the impact?

Nearly 50 schools in India and 26 in UAE, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and other Gulf countries offering the CBSE-i.

CBSE notification exactly said:

Schools located abroad like in Qatar that have approval for CBSE-i and offer it on campus should discontinue doing so from next academic session.

Students of such schools affected by this decision on their promotion to next class will be accommodated in the CBSE main curriculum.

Schools located in India offering the international curriculum should not offer the same from 2017-18.
