The students who have appeared for the WBBSE Class 10th Exam 2020 have likely to do more wait for the board results. As per the latest media reports, the West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee announced to declare the result only when the circumstances will become favourable and the situation will get under control. More than 10 lakh candidates are eagerly waiting for the WBBSE Class 10th Result 2020. The WBBSE will announce the Madhyamik Results 2020 on the official website at wbresults.nic.in.

Earlier also the West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee had announced that the WBBSE Board Exams 2020 results declaration date will be intimated after the lockdown in the generic condition.

In light of the COVID-19 crisis and nationwide lockdown, the evaluation process of class10th answer sheets got delayed due to which teacher failed to submit the evaluated answer scripts on time. Earlier it was expected that the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, WBBSE will announce the Class 10 Board results on July 15.

Last year, the WBBSE Class 10th Results was announced on May 21, 2019. A total of 10.50 lakh candidates appeared for the class X board examination out of which 8.76 lakh candidates have successfully qualified the exam. The overall pass percentage across the state was 86.07 percent. Sougata Das of Mohammad Desopran Vidyapeeth topped the class 10th Board Exam by securing 99.14 percent.
