As many as 105 candidates, who were put on a reserve list, have been declared qualified for the civil services examination 2013 by (UPSC).
A total of 1,122 candidates were declared qualified by the UPSC for the 2013 examination in order of merit for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and other central services, as against 1,228 vacancies, results of which were declared in June last year.
The Commission, in accordance with civil services examination rules, was also maintaining a consolidated reserve list in order of merit below the last of recommended candidate under the respective categories.
As sought by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Commission has now recommended 105 candidates -- 89 belonging to General category and 16 Other Backward Classes -- to fill up the remaining posts based on the civil services examination, 2013, the UPSC said.
"The candidates so recommended will be communicated directly by the DoPT," it said.
A list of these candidates is available on the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in.
Of the 1,122 successful candidates, 517 were of General category, 326 Other Backward Classes (OBC), 187 Scheduled Caste (SC) and 92 of Scheduled Tribe (ST).
There were 1,228 advertised vacancies -- 622 General, 326 OBC, 188 SC and 92 ST -- for civil services examination, 2013.

The civil services examination is conducted in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview -- to select officers for IAS, IFS and IPS, among others.
