The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2022. The Indian Administrative Services IAS prelims result is now available on the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have appeared for the Indian Administrative Services exam can check the result by visiting the Commission's website.
UPSC Prelims Exam 2022: Highlights
UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) exam was held on June 05, 2022. The preliminary examination was held strictly following the COVID guidelines. According to the official notification issued by the UPSC earlier, a total of 1012 posts is to be filled through this recruitment examination. Out of which 151 posts are for Indian Forest Services (IFS) and 861 posts are for Indian Administrative Services (IAS).
UPSC Prelims Result 2022: What's Next
The Union Public Service Commission has released the result in the pdf form consisting of roll number of shortlisted candidates qualified for the main examination. Successful candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the Commission.

Step 3: It will redirect to the new page where you have to select Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2022 Result link
Step 4: A pdf will be displayed on the screen consisting of shortlisted candidates' roll number
Step 5: Search your roll number using ctrl+f key and check the result
Step 6: Download the pdf and keep it safe for future use.
