Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2021. The result is available on the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in. According to the official notification, the Commission has prepared the final merit list on the basis of the scores secured by the candidates in preliminary and main examinations followed by the personality test.
Shortlisted candidates will be appointed to the posts of Chemist, Group ‘A’ in the Geological Survey of India; and Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology), Group ‘A’, Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical), Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics), Group ‘A’ in the Central Ground Water Board. The candidates who have appeared for the recruitment examination can check the UPSC Geo Scientist Result 2021 through the official website or by following the simple steps provided below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to the 'What's New' section
Step 3: Click on the link that says, "Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2021 Final Result"
Step 3: A pdf will be displayed on the screen
Step 4: Search your roll no. or name in the pdf using 'ctrl+f'
Step 5: Check the details printed on the result carefully and take a print for further reference.
Important Note: The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents as required by the Commission within this period, their candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard.
