The marks for the UPSC Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination 2019 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The marks are now available on the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The Personality Test was conducted from December 16, 2019, to January 10, 2020.
An official notification reads, "Based on the results of the written examination of the Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination, 2019 held by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION from 28th to 30th June 2019 followed by the Personality Test from 16th December 2019 to 10th January 2020 the following are the lists, in order of merit, of the candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the Group ‘A’ posts of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist in the Geological Survey of India; and Group ‘A’ post of Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) in the Central Ground Water Board."

UPSC Recruitment 2019 Notification: Eligibility
Education: To apply for the posts, candidates should have a Master’s degree in the related fields.
Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years. However, for the post of a junior hydrogeologist, the upper age limit is capped at 35 years. The age will be calculated as on January 1, 2019. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit.
UPSC Recruitment 2019 Notification: Salary
Selected candidates will be hired at a pay matrix of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500.
