UPPSC RO, ARO Result 2017: The result for the UPPSC Review Officer / Assistant Review Officer (General and Special Selection / Backlog) Exam 2017 has been declared finally by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
The result is now available on the official website i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in.
The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the result online.
According to the result declared only 663 candidates have been selected against 809 posts, while 146 posts remain vacant due to lack of qualified candidates. The commission will start the process afresh to fill the above posts.
There were 5,33,447 applications for the RO-ARO 2017 recruitment exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Its preliminary examination was held on April 8, 2018. As many as 3,40,121 candidates had appeared in the examination held at 1146 centers in 21 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The result of the preliminary examination was released on December 14, 2018. In this, 15,342 candidates were successful, after which the main examination was held on 17, 18 and 20 February 2019. There were 10,643 candidates in this examination. After this, a typing test of 837 candidates was taken on 18 January and 29 February 2020 for selection on the post of ARO.
