The statewide boycott of evaluation work by teachers is likely to delay the announcement of result.
According to a report published in "The last date for evaluation of answer sheets of class 10 and 12 exams has been extended from April 13 to 19". This is likely to prove a barrier in announcing the results on its earlier scheduled time.
Teachers appointed to examine/evaluate answer books of Uttar Pradesh Inter Mediate and Class 10 Board had boycotted the evaluation work for two days across the state.
The evaluation work was scheduled from March 30 to April 13 and Board had asked teachers to submit the mark sheet on April 14 while the results were earlier scheduled to be declared by April end.
The Board issuing an important instruction to those teachers engaged in evaluation process has asked to submit mark sheet in three stages from April 10 to 20.

The Board had earlier decided to complete the evaluation in 15 days. Now the work has been delayed by 21 days, UP Board officials said.The evaluation work is being undertaken across the state daily from 10 am to 4pm.
According to a Board official the evaluation work is going on in a total of 232 centres and at least one lakh teachers have been appointed to evaluate one crore copies of class 10 and 12 this year.
