Uttar Pradesh Board, also known as Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, will announce the class X and XII results soon.
It is expected that the UP Board result 2018 will be announced in April this year.
The authorities are taking steps to expedite the process of evaluation to ensure declaration of results in April.
Checking to be completed in three weeks
The UP Board has already started evaluation of the answer sheets. It is learnt from reliable sources that the evaluation work has been scheduled to be completed within the next three weeks. In such case, there are all probabilities of the final results coming up in April.
Precautionary measures for UP Board Result
The Uttar Pradesh School Education Board (UPSEB) is taking precautionary steps to ensure fair and transparent evaluation of the exam papers. It is learnt that they have decided to installed CCTV cameras to stop cheating. The step is also a welcome one after massive crack down by the authorities on huge numbers of cheating incidents taking place in examination in the state.
Huge task at hand
The Board has a huge task at hand to handle as it is estimated that over 67 lakh students have enrolled to appear the exams held in 2018. Later, with mass crackdown on cheating cases around ten lakh of these students did not appear for board exam. That still left in the field around 57 lakh students appearing in exams and the task was reduced only a little. In addition; the two papers that were cancelled were held again on March 13 and March 15 for which the evaluation process was delayed. The evaluation of answerscripts has reportedly started. The evaluation work will complete within the scheduled time limit of three weeks.
UP Board aims for simultaneous declaration
It is also learnt that the authorities aim to come up with UP Board results simultaneously for class 10th or the Matriculation and also of the 12th or intermediate exam results simultaneously. That means both the results are likely to come up in the last week of April 2018.
