UGC NET Result 2024: The University Grants Commission has released the results of the UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) for the June session for over 6 lakh candidates. Along with the UGC NET results 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has also announced the subject-wise cut-offs for all categories on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. A total of 1,70,734 candidates qualified for JRF, assistant professor, and PhD admissions.

This year, 11,21,225 applicants registered for the UGC NET June exam 2024, of which only 6,84,224 candidates appeared in the rescheduled exam conducted between 21 August to 5 September 2024. The UGC NET exam initially was conducted in OMR-based mode in June and was later canceled due to a paper leak.

The candidates who qualify UGC NET June 2024 session exam will receive two types of certificates - A certificate for Lectureship (LS) and a Certificate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The JRF certificate is valid for three years from the result date, while the LS certificate does not have a validity limit and remains effective indefinitely for the position of Assistant Professor.

  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website. 
  • Then click on the result link available on the home page. 
  • Enter your login credentials and click on submit. 
  • The result will be displayed on the screen of the candidate. 
  • After viewing, download the same. 
  • The candidates can take a printout for future reference.
