The result of UGC National Eligibility Test (November) 2017 is likely to be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in January next year. 

While the UGC NET examination was conducted by CBSE on November 5, 2017, the CBSE released the answer keys on December 12, 2017.

The candidates appeared in three papers, paper-I of General Awareness was common for all and paper-II and III were conducted out of 84 subjects selected by the candidates.

Approximately 409439 male candidates, 519557 female candidates and three transgender registered for the exam. More than 75% candidates appeared in the exam.

The CBSE conducted the exam on behalf of UGC.  
 

The exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
