The result for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET 2019) Paper-II has been released by the Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB).

The result will be available on the official website i.e. trb.tn.nic.in.

The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the result. 

As per the Notification No.08/2019, dated 28.02.2019 Teachers Recruitment Board conducted Teacher Eligibility Test – 2019 for Paper – II on 09.06.2019.

3,79,733 candidates appeared for Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 Paper-II examination. The tentative answer keys were published on 09-07-2019 in the website of the Teachers Recruitment Board and representations, objections etc. were invited from the candidates within 5 days (up to 15-07-2019).

All the representations received within the stipulated time have been thoroughly examined by subject experts. After thorough scrutiny, the final answer key has been arrived at and based on that, OMR answer sheets have been valued and provisional mark list of the written examination for TNTET Paper-II – 2019 are published herein.

TNTET 2019: Examination pattern

The exam is divided into two parts Paper I and II. The paper I qualified candidates can be recruited as teachers for class 1 to class 5 while paper II qualifying candidates will be recruited as a teacher for class 6 to class 8. In both, the exams candidates are asked 150 multiple-choice questions. The test’s duration is three hours.

The candidates who clear the exam will be eligible to apply for the posts of teacher in the state schools.
