TN Class 12th result 2024: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE TN) is all set to announce the TN higher secondary/ class 12th results tomorrow, 6 May at around 9:30 AM. 

 

Candidates who participated in the Tamil nadu class 12 public exam 2024 and are awaiting their results will be able to access and download it on the official website designated by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations, i.e. dge.tn.gov.in.

 

The TN 12th board exams 2024 were administered by the Tamil Nadu state board from 1 March -  22 March, 2024. 

 

TN Class 12th result 2024: Passing criteria 

  • Students will be considered passable if they achieve a minimum score of 35 out of 100 in each subject.
  • Those students who receive failing grades in one or more subjects will be provided with the opportunity to retake the respective tests.
  • The purpose of retaking the tests is to enable students to improve their scores and achieve the required passing criteria for overall success in the examinations.

 

TN Class 12th result: Last year trend 

  • Total Number of Students: Approximately 8 lakh students appeared in the TN 12th public exam 2023.
  • Overall Pass Percentage: Out of the total, 7,55,451 students were declared pass, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.03%.
  • Gender Disparity: Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.38%, showcasing their academic excellence.
  • Performance Trend: The results indicate a commendable performance by the students, reflecting their dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.

 

TN Class 12th result 2024: Important details 

  • Request for Answer Sheet Scanned Copy: Students will have the option to apply for a scanned copy of their answer sheet to review their performance and evaluate their answers.
  • Retotalling of Marks: Those unsatisfied with their marks can apply for retotalling of their marks to ensure accuracy in the calculation.
  • Scrutiny of Results: Students can request a scrutiny of their results if they believe there has been an error or discrepancy in the evaluation process.
  • Supplementary Exams: Students who did not pass the exam or wish to improve their scores will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary exams to clear their subjects.
  • Migration Certificate: Upon request, students can obtain a migration certificate for pursuing higher education in institutions outside Tamil Nadu.
  • Further Education Options: Successful candidates will have the choice to pursue various undergraduate courses such as engineering, medicine, degree programs, or opt for diploma courses based on their interests and career goals.

  • Firstly, candidates need to visit the Official Website at tnresults.nic.in HSE(+2) Results 2024.
  • Then, click on the ‘TN 12th Result 2024’, link on the home page 
  • Next, fill the required details like your roll number, date of birth and given captcha code and submit. 
  • Now, the TS class 12th board result 2024 will be displayed on your scren. 
  • Download and take a print out for future reference.
