The Rajasthan University Students Union (RUSU) election result has been declared today, September 11, 2018.
While the RUSU presidential poll started last month, previously it was informed that the RUSU Polls will be out by September 12.
“Counting of 11,516 votes will be done in front of 200 staff of the university, 31 candidates or their agents. For transparency, five cameras on five counting tables and one at the university main gate will be installed. Counting will start at 11 am and will take around three hours to finish. But if recounting happens, then it can stretch up to another three hours," Sarina Kalia, Dean, Student Welfare, told Jagran Josh.

3: 14 PM: Independent candidate Vinod Jakhar wins Rajasthan University's presidential poll.
3:00 PM: NSUI has won 3 out of 4 seats for Tonk Government PG College.
2:45 PM: Scorecard of ABVP, NSUI would be shared shortly.
2:40 PM: In Jaipur College, Amit Kumar has been elected as president whereas Naresh Kumar Bairva has become general secretary. Sandip Saini has become Joint Secretary and Ashish Chaudhary becomes vice president, statistics from media reports.
2: 30 PM: All the classes of the university will stay suspended today.
2:15 PM: Security has been intensified within the university campus.
2: 00 PM: As per chief proctor of the university HS Palsaniya, 80 members were chosen for the purpose of vote counting.
1: 45 PM: Rajasthan University Student Union, RUSU Results 2018 are scheduled to be released today.
1:30 PM: Cameras have been installed on five counting tables and one at the university main gate.
1: 15 PM: Central Library is where the counting of the votes is taking place.
