The result for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2017 has been declared on June 16, 2017.
While the result was declared at 12 noon today, the NEST 2017 exam was conducted on May 27, 2017 at 124 centres across 60 cities in the country.
Successful candidates will be asked to participate in an admission/counselling process and the admission will be given on the basis of the merit list.
The MSc programme at NISER and CEBS follows a semester-based course structure and continuous assessment system. Those admitted to this programme are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 5,000 per month and an additional Rs 20,000 per year for summer projects.

National Entrance Screening Test or NEST is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007.
