Putting an end to the uncertainty regarding NEET 2017, the Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare the results of the NEET 2017 examination for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
The Madras High Court had on May 24 stayed the publication of the NEET results as a petitioner filed a plea saying the vernacular question papers for NEET 2017 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses were easier than the papers in English.
The apex court, while passing its order, also stayed a Madras High Court order which had put on hold the declaration of results.
