K-TET is an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala.
The exams were conducted on June 22 and June 29, 2019. KTET are in four categories: Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, and Category 4.
Category 1 is for lower Primary Classes,
Category 2 is for Upper Primary,
Category 4 is for Language teachers respectively.
The answer keys have been released for all categories.

The RTE Act 2009 directs the State to ensure the quality requirement for recruitment of teachers.
The persons recruited as teachers should possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at all levels of schooling.
