The Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education or KBHSE is going to conduct examinations for the students of the class 12th in the month of March and April 2017 and supplementary exams in the month of May 2017. The Board plans to declare the result in the month of May 2017 in the morning slot at 10 AM.
 
This year in 2017 it is expected that more than 5.4 Lac students will be writing their 12th class exams. As all of us are aware, Kerala is the first state in India to get a 100% literacy rate. Every year more and more students are taking the Kerala State Education Board examinations. Last yeararound4.6lac students appeared for exams frommore than 2000 centers in Kerala and nearby zones gave the Class 12 exams. Every year around 30000 students get added for writing the exams.

The students will be able to see their results roll number wise or name wise when the results are out. The dissatisfied students can opt for paper correction to clear their doubts by applying forrecorrection or revaluation of their exam papers. The Kerala Board releases the results of 12th Class Results 2017 RecorrectionResults in 10 to 20 days of time.

If we look at the results of the previous years, it is found that with an increase in the number of students appearing for the 12th class exams, the number of passing students are also increasing. In the year 2012 the passing percentage was only 89.4% whereas in the year 2016 this figure rose to 96.7%. This year in 2017, the board is expecting that the students will cross this figure and the passing percentage will further rise to a whopping figure of 98%. It is also observed that the passing percentage of the girls have always been higher as compared to the passing percentage of the boys by 1% to 2%. Like in the last year in 2016, the passing percentage of the boys was 95% while for the girls it was 97%.
