The girls have outshone boys by bagging 62 top slots out of 86 positions in class 12th results of Jammu division declared on Wednesday.

Jammu and Kashmir Board of Education (JKBOSE) had declared the results of Class 12 board exams 2015 of Jammu division in which 49 per cent (40,580) students have passed out of 82,796 students.
Girls took 62 positions while boys bagged only 24 positions out of the total 86 positions.
In Science stream, of of total 46 positions, girls bagged 25 positions and boys 21 with Akhilesh Pakhetra of Udhampur district and Vidushi Gupta of Jammu jointly bagging first position.
In Commerce, Arts and Home Science streams, girls made a clean sweep in bagging top slots.
Fifteen girls bagged top positions leaving only two slots to boys out of total 17 positions in commerce stream, while girls bagged 12 positions out of 13 in Arts stream and all the 10 positions in Home Science.
In commerce stream, Mimansa Bhardwaj of Jammu got the first position while Muskaan Rajwal got first position in Arts stream besides Neha Thakur getting top slot in Home Science branch.
